This map, created by Redwood Hikes and South Skyline resident Eric Isacson, is a detailed view of the South Skyline Firesafe region, bounded at the north end by Old La Honda road in San Mateo County. The southern end is at the intersection of Skyline Boulevard and Bear Creek Road. It reaches beyond Skyline Boulevard on the west side into La Honda, crossing through Russian Ridge and Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserves and Portola Redwoods State Park. On the east it reaches areas of Monte Bello and Saratoga Gap Open Space Preserves and Sanborn County Park. The South Skyline Firesafe region includes parts of San Mateo, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz Counties.
